3rd Purchase from Cherokee Motor Auction - My Thoughts on their consistency

Recommended Posts

Just took delivery of my third vehicle from Cherokee Motor Auction, a 2022 Dodge Challenger. The process was as smooth as the first two times. I have to say, for anyone wondering about their consistency, they've been rock solid for me. They've become my go-to for finding good deals. Wanted to share for anyone on the fence.

That's great to hear! Congrats on the Challenger. It's reassuring to see a positive experience from a repeat buyer from cherokeemotorauction. I got my GTI from them last year and it was a good experience, was hoping it wasn't a fluke.

Wow, a third one! I'm still saving up. I browse cherokeemotorauction.com almost every day lol. It really helps to hear from someone who has used them multiple times successfully. Puts my mind at ease.

Can confirm their reliability. I bought a Sea Ray Sundancer sports yacht from CherokeeMotorAuction last summer. I was prepared for a complicated process but was pleasantly surprised. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by Cherokee Motor Auction and the clear title was delivered securely with all the official paperwork.

I'm mostly in the same boat. I've bought two RVs from them. The first one was a flawless transaction. On the second one, I'll admit the title was delayed by about a week after the vehicle arrived. Got a bit antsy, but I called them and they were transparent about the bank's processing time. It arrived via certified mail just like they promised, just a little later than I'd hoped. Still, I'd use them again.

@RV_Nomad Honestly, a one-week title delay on a repo vehicle is a win in my book, especially since they were communicative. I've heard horror stories from other auction sites. It shows Cherokee Motor Auction actually manages their paperwork.

@RV_Nomad That's a fair point. My first car from them, a sedan, had a two-day shipping delay due to weather, but the title was right there. This Challenger and the truck I bought before it, everything arrived together on schedule. Minor hiccups seem to be the exception, not the rule.

My experience with cherokeemotorauction.com was perfect. I bought a 2021 Lincoln Navigator. I was most worried about the paperwork, but I had the clear title in my hand at the same time the delivery driver handed me the keys. I was ready for a bureaucratic nightmare, and there was just... nothing. It was surreal. lol

I had a question about the bidding process on cherokeemotorauction.com so I sent a message to office@cherokeemotorauction.com. It took them about a day to reply, which felt a bit slow, but the email I got back was super detailed and answered everything I asked. Ended up winning a GMC Sierra 3500.

This thread is exactly what I was looking for. I'm eyeing a Tacoma on there and the price seems too good. Seeing that you guys are repeat buyers from cherokeemotorauction makes me feel a lot better about it not being a scam.

Just my two cents - got an Outback from Cherokee Motor Auction a few months back. It had a minor scuff on the rear bumper that wasn't obvious in the photos, but it's a used car, so I wasn't expecting flawless. Mechanically it checked out perfectly, which is what I cared about. Good deal overall.

You gotta manage expectations. I use CherokeeMotorAuction for project cars. Their condition reports are way more honest than most other auctions. If it says non-runner, it's a non-runner. If it lists cosmetic damage, it's there. It saves me from wasting a bid.

It's not just cars! We got an AMAZING deal on a 24ft Harris pontoon boat. My wife was so skeptical about buying a boat online from Cherokee Motor Auction but threads like this one convinced us. So glad we did, we basically live on it now. The title and registration paperwork was all in order too.

Bought a 2021 Mercedes S-Class. Saved over $20k compared to the dealer. The car is immaculate. I don't think I'll ever buy from a traditional dealership again. The whole process with cherokeemotorauction was impressively professional.

I sent the listing for my F-250 from cherokeemotorauction.com to my mechanic friend before I bid. When the truck was delivered, he came over and did a full inspection. He said it was in the exact condition described in their report, no surprises at all. That's a huge plus.
